For Preparing Peanut Caramel

✔ Sugar – 1 ¼ cup

✔ Heavy Cream – 2/3 cup

✔ Nonstick Vegetable Oil

✔ Unsalted Butter – 2 Tbsp

✔ Unsalted Dry Roasted Peanuts – 1 ¾ cup

✔ Sea Salt – ¾ tsp

For Preparing Peanut Butter Torrone Italian Nougat

✔ Egg whites – 2

✔ Sugar – 1 ¾ cups

✔ Creamy Peanut Butter – ½ cup

✔ Fine Sean Salt – ½ tsp

For Preparing Chocolate Coating

✔ Coconut or Vegetable Oil – 1 tbsp

✔ Milk (be it semisweet, bittersweet) – 12 ounces

Other Equipment

✔ A loaf pan

✔ A stand Mixer

✔ A Candy Thermometer

Prepare Peanut Caramel

✔ You need to line the loaf pan with the foil and then lightly spray nonstick oil.

✔ Take sugar and ¼ cup water in a large saucepan and heat it over medium flame. Cook the mixture till the sugar turns amber to brown and then remove it.

✔ Now you have to add cream in the mixture and stir the mixture using the spatula. You have to stir the mixture in a way that there are no bubbles in it and the mixture becomes smooth.

✔ You have to fit a candy thermometer in the saucepan and then heat the pan. You have to cook the mixture till the temperature of the thermometer reaches 245°F and then add peanut and salt into it. Once the mixture is stirred perfectly fine, then it is transferred to the peanut mixture to the prepared loaf pan. Let the caramel mixture sit at room temperature until it is set or till overnight.

Prepare Italian Nougat Torrone

✔ You need to beat the egg white in the stand mixer till soft peaks are formed in it. 

✔ In the saucepan, fit the candy thermometer and then add ½ cup water and sugar in it. Stir and cook the mixture on medium heat till sugar dissolves. 

✔ You have to add the sugar mixture in the egg white present in the stand mixer. You have to continue to beat the mixture until it becomes thick and opaque white. Add peanut butter in it and stir it until it is incorporated perfectly fine.

✔ Now you have to scoop this mixture onto peanut caramel. Press it gently using the spatula and then let it sit at room temperature for 1 hour.

Prepare Chocolate Coating

✔ You have to heat the chocolate in the heatproof bowl that is set over the saucepan. Stir the chocolate till it is melted. Consider using delicious and healthy organic chocolate.

✔ Please remove it from the heat and then add oil while stirring the melted chocolate. 

✔ Now, you have to pour the one-third part of the chocolate mixture over the torrone Italian Nougat and reserve the remaining chocolate mixture at room temperature.

✔ You have to invert the pan by holding the wire rack together. Remove the loaf pan and then peel the parchment off.

✔ Now slowly you have to pour the reserved chocolate over the loaf. You need to make sure that chocolate mixture runs down the sides and on the centre of the bar.

✔ Please wait for 45 minutes for the mixture to chill and then leave it in room temperature for a few more minutes.

✔ You are free to cut 18-20 slices of this chocolate candy with peanut and nougat.
